JV took second place in 1,2 and 3 singles at the Harding tournament. Third place overall for the team.
The Washburn Millers JV Blue team hosted a match against Cretin-Derham Hall’s JV(B) team. Washburn‘s singles lineup of Eli Zukor-Zimmermann, Vaughn Smith, Fletcher Thomas, and Luca Cordova Stuart clinched the win for the team and Evan Walker and Jack Redepenning scored a win at #3 doubles to give the Millers a 5-2 victory.
(MINNEAPOLIS) Coming off of a big tournament weekend win in Alexandria, the Washburn JV Tennis Team (6-1) hosted a match against the Burnsville Blaze. Lead by a quick wins from David Hovis (9) and the team of Ben Anderson (8)/Emerson Roy (8), the Millers blazed a 7-0 victory.
(BLOOMINGTON, MN) The Miller’s JV tennis team traveled to Bloomington to take on the Bloomington Jefferson Jaguars. The Millers were lead to a 5-2 victory with wins in singles by David Hovis (9), Ben Anderson (8), Eli Zukor Zimmerman (8) and the doubles teams of Ben Katzman (11)/Aaron Walker (9) and Vaughn Smith (11)/Tom Mullin (8).
The Washburn Millers JV team (1-1) took on rival Southwest for the JV City Conference Championship. With big wins from #1 singles, #2 singles, and all the doubles teams, Washburn secured a 6th straight JV City Conference Championship with a 5-2 victory.
