The boys went 1-2 this weekend in Sioux Falls falling to Sioux Falls Lincoln and Sioux Falls O’Gorman by identical 4-3 scores. Despite the losses the team came away optimistic due to their competitive scores against the two top ranked teams in all of South Dakota.
Against Sioux Falls Christian, Eli Haugland notched his first official varsity win of the year at 5 singles, while David Hovis traveled with the varsity for the first time and lost a heart breaker at 6 singles 10-8 in the third.
The boys have a busy week with three matches, one scrimmage and a tournament this week.
